Japanese Convict Tries DIY Plastic Surgery to Change Identity
A Japanese man, currently awaiting trial for murder in prison wrote in his book that he had decided to carry out plastic surgery on himself in order to conceal his identity. Tatsuya Ichihashi removed two moles on the side of his face through cosmetic surgery. These were his distinguishing marks. Tatsuya Ichihashi decided to remove his lower lip and get a nose job done, thus using cosmetic surgery to completely change his identity. The staff at the clinic where he was getting his cosmetic surgery completed got suspicious of the fact that he was having so many surgeries and that got him arrested.
The trend of carrying plastic surgery on one's own self is on the rise. Obsessions with celebrity culture, depression and the expense of such surgeries have been deemed the cause of this.
